Four New Bird Flu Outbreaks Found in Southern Ghana

GHANA - Three new outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza have been found in Ghana's Greater Accra region, with another discovered in the Central region.

Over 1400 birds died in the outbreaks and another 936 were destroyed to prevent the disease spreading. The outbreaks affected layers, pullets and broilers, all in deep litter.
