The eleven events start in mid-November in Powys and run over a month.

This year the roadshows will focus on contingency planning with the aim to help producers create a site-specific plan for their own businesses.

Gary Ford, NFU Chief Poultry Adviser said: "It is important for producers to attend these meetings as the threat of avian influenza has not gone away, particularly given that the wild waterfowl migration season will soon be upon us."

A number of expert speakers will be on hand at each event including representatives from veterinary practices, APHA and the Environment Agency.
