RED-L stands for Resting, Eating, Drinking and Laying. This second-generation aviary system for layers, with a patented porch design, is accessible on all levels and allows a higher bird density, compared to normal floor housing. Integrated nests and the possibility to train the birds in the system ensures the number of floor eggs is reduced to an absolute minimum. The special design combined with the easy escape possibilities and availability of 100% floor space allows natural bird behaviour and provides good animal welfare.
