Chris Harris - Editor in Chief
Chris Harris has been Editor in Chief at 5M Publishing since 2007. A journalist for more than 35 years, he has edited newspapers and business-to-business magazines as well as the current websites. He has reported on the meat and agriculture industries for more than 20 years.
Jackie Linden - Senior Editor
After an honours degree in Agriculture and a qualification as well as practical experience in pig husbandry, Jackie spent 20 years in the animal feed industry. Following a career move into agricultural journalism on an international poultry magazine, she has been with 5M Publishing since 2008 as editor and then senior editor of ThePoultrySite.com and ThePigSite.com.
Chris Wright - Senior Editor
Chris was born and raised in Mexico and has covered the Latin American poultry industry for over 20 years. He has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a Masters Degree in International Relations. Chris travels widely in Latin America reporting from hatcheries, layer and broiler farms, feed mills and poultry processing plants.
Sarah Mikesell - Senior Editor
Sarah joined 5M Publishing as a senior editor in November 2010 overseeing the bioenergy and crop sites. Prior to 5M, she worked at Rhea & Kaiser Marketing Communications in Naperville, Ill. Prior to Rhea & Kaiser, Sarah worked at the National Livestock and Meat Board in Chicago. She also reported on the livestock and lumber futures market from the floor of the CME for Futures World News.
Gemma Hyland - Editor
Gemma joined 5M Publishing in June 2011 after graduating from Sunderland University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. After focussing in online news production during her final year of study, Gemma joined the bioenergy and crop sites as a Junior Editor, assisting Sarah Mikesell.
Lucy Towers - Editor
After graduating from The University of Sheffield, Lucy joined 5M in 2011 as part of the News Desk team. In 2012, she was promoted to editor of TheFishSite. With previous farming experience and a love for the great outdoors, Lucy has a passion for wildlife and the environment.
Nuria Martínez Herráez - Editor
Nuria was born and raised in Spain. She graduated in BA Translation and Interpreting at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid university in 2010. As part of her BA degree, she studied for one year in Brussels (Belgium). She is fluent in Spanish, English and French and has a high interest in extending her learning in other languages. She joined 5m Publishing in May 2011 as part of our editorial team, primarily working on our Spanish site, ElSitioAvicola.com, as an editor and translator. She has already attended several events relevant to the poultry industry.
Michael Priestley - Editor
Michael joined 5m Publishing in October 2012 as editor of the TheCattleSite, TheBeefSite and TheDairySite. He studied English Language and Linguistics at the University of Sheffield before graduating with his Postgraduate diploma in Land Management at Harper Adams University College in Shropshire. Michael grew up in North Yorkshire, England and worked on local livestock farms in his youth.
