Live Vaccines
COMPOSITION
CEVAC® TREMOR L contains the Calnek strain of Avian Encephalomyelitis
virus in live, freeze dried form. The embryonated hen eggs used in the production
of the vaccine are obtained from specified-pathogen-free (SPF)
flocks.
INDICATIONS
For the active immunisation of healthy chickens against Avian Encephalomyelitis.
The progeny of hens vaccinated according to the recommended program will
have maternally derived antibodies protecting it from Avian Encephalomyelitis.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
CEVAC® TREMOR L should not be used during lay as it will cause a drop in production
and the vaccine strain will pass on to the eggs for a period a short period
after vaccination.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Pullets should be vaccinated with CEVAC® TREMOR L after 10 weeks of age
and 4 weeks before the onset of laying by drinking water or wing web
administration.
Wing Web: Insert the applicator into the webbed portion of the wing avoiding feathers, muscle, bone and blood vessels (0.01 ml dose/bird). Vaccine should be used within one hour.
