I'd just kill him and be done with it. Roosters are easy to come by if you really want one.

As much as I don't like culling any rooster, if he is jumping at your face and scratching you, you need to get rid of him. He could injure you or one of your friends or family, and in the end, it's not worth it. You wouldn't want any offspring by this rooster anyway, as they'll be bad tempered as well. Breed from your friendly rooster and you'll have much nicer birds.

is it worth risking someones eye,especially a childs.cull the aggressive/mean roosters.there is no shortage of roosters.you can get more for cheap to free.ive had 20 plus roosters only had 2 or 3 that needed to be culled,because they were aggressive.

Hi, I read somewhere that you should hold the rooster down and tickle round his face and whattles for a few minutes to teach him you were boss. I tried this on a couple of our cockerels and it's worked a treat - they give me a wide berth now in case I do it again. They look really indignant when you do it! Revenge is sweet.
