How is her crop. It should be empty on a morning. Any chance its impacted or sour.

Any chance you have red mite in your hen house this causes a hens comb to go pale.

Any sign of a respiratory problem.

Could she be egg bound?

Any chance she is broody. Broody hens have pale combs and don't come out of the nest box much just to have something to eat and drink and then back in. If she is broody she will be cross if you try to move her. You says she sleeps a lot so I doubt it is this.

If you ooh at the little hen rescue web site and look at the common ailments section and look through there and see if your hen has any of the symptoms on there.

If you get back with more info I'm sure someone can help

Steph - this is a really old thread so you need to post a new thread. When you do, let us know how old your hen is, what breed and what her poos look like.
