shelless eggs
Hello.
My 1yr 2month old silver sebright has layed two shelless eggs, and one transparent shelled egg in the last 2 weeks. I noticed her sitting in her box for a while yesterday, and when she got up to jump out onto the barn floor, an egg with no shell just dropped right out as she flew down to the ground.
I feed them poultry/layers feed from our local provider (can't remember brand name right now) but they don't eat very much of it. They are free range around the farm and eat mostly outside. I'll notice them occasionally eating their feed provided in their chicken coop...but mostly I think they eat bugs, grass, etc.
What are the things that I can do to help her? Is this something she can die from?
I would appreciate any advice or solutions.
Thanks,
Jane
