I could use some advice on de-wormer medications or methods for egg laying hens. I have noticed a product called Wazine, but there appears to be no withdrawal time at all for this product, so I am hesitant to use it on egg-laying hens. Does anyone have any advice on a safe product or method for use on egg laying birds? Thank you!

I use Verm x which is a natural product and you can still eat the eggs. I have to admit to only using it recently for the first time, I found it easy to use as it is pellets you mix with their feed. They ate it happily but I cannot say how effective it is!!

The only thing that doesn't have egg withdrawl that I know of is DE. I haven't had much success using it by itself though. I can tell you that it isn't a big deal to just throw the eggs away for a week, you have to do that with other meds as well anyway. I recommend THIS if you want to really worm them good. Try the Ivomec. Good luck!

I use verm-x pellets and have had no problems so far. i have found it cheaper on ebay than on the actual website or you could try one of the stockists.
