BELARUS - The 1st Minsk battery farm in Minsk was awarded the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certificate on September 20, according to the Belta news agency.
The certificate has now been awarded to five poultry farms in Belarus. The 1st Minsk battery farm is looking to start exporting its products to the Czech Republic, and the award of the HACCP certificate is expected to help in this regard.
The farm is planning to produce 290 million eggs this year, double the number produced in 2003. As well as eggs, it produces semi-processed and processed poultry meat products.
