End of previous report period: 15 March 2006 (see Disease Information, 19 [11], 228, dated 16 March 2006).
End of this report period: 21 November 2006.
Identification of agent: avian influenza virus subtype H5N1.
Date of first confirmation of the event: 13 March 2006.
Date of start of the event: 9 March 2006.
There have been no new outbreaks in poultry since the last report. The event was considered ended on 20 April 2006.
Final report: yes.
