INDIA - The Central government is examining demands by some of the country's poultry farmers to ban futures trading in corn, agriculture minister Sharad Pawar said.“We received a request from poultry industry this week that the futures be banned. We are studying the request,” Pawar said in the lower house of the Parliament in New Delhi. “We will apply our mind and take a proper decision.”
