Aviagen Kft Hold Second Successful Broiler Breeder Seminar in Serbia
UK - Aviagen Kft, the Hungarian operation of Aviagen, the world's leading poultry breeding company, recently held its second annual seminar at the Novi Sad Park Hotel in Serbia. This event follows on from the success of the first meeting last year.Guest speakers included Laszlo Bencsik from Andrea D.O.O., acting sales agent in Serbia, who opened and welcomed the meeting, and Dr Dusan Orlic, Department Head of the Animal Production Institute of Novi Sad, who updated the audience on the latest developments in the Serbian poultry sector with regard to Avian Influenza and other animal diseases in the region.

Aviagen representatives also addressed the audience: Nick Spenceley, Managing Director of Aviagen Kft, talked about the importance , versatility and safety of Aviagen's supply chain and highlighted the company's ability to supply from alternative sources in case of disease problems as was demonstrated in case of the recent Avian Influenza incident in Hungary.
Nick also illustrated the continuous improvements in all-round Ross performance enjoyed by Aviagen customers in Europe and world-wide. Barna Komjathy and Olga Myasnikova, Technical Service Managers, addressed key issues of breeder and hatchery management respectively.
