Aviagen Customer Group Enjoys Trip To VIV Asia

The trip was organised as a thank-you to loyal customers from Slovenia and the Czech Republic who worked especially closely with Aviagen during the recent challenging times of Avian Influenza in Eastern Europe.   Working together, the product supply chain was maintained throughout the period of disease outbreak. 

A visit to Grampian Siam's facilities hosted by Howard Gallagher, Operations Director, was the highlight of the trip and enabled the group to observe the importance and strict application of biosecurity rules in Thailand. The group were very impressed with the performance of the birds in hot climates and conditions quite different to the ones in Europe.

The party was very interested to witness the changes in the Thai poultry industry in recent years and enjoyed the VIV Asia show where they were able to spend time with the Aviagen Asian team.

Tyark Osterndorff, Business Manager for Eastern Europe and CIS said: "The trip was a great success and provided us with chance to offer our thanks to those customers that have worked alongside us to enable us to maintain the supply of products to our customers globally and to enlarge our knowledge and understanding of the poultry industry in Asia."
