Print This Page Chicken sales decline after bird flu report
ISLAMABAD - People in Rawalpindi and Islamabad have reduced chicken consumption following the health ministry’s report on bird flu in the twin cities.Wholesale chicken dealers have reduced their demand from poultry farms while shopkeepers are also keeping a minimum chicken quantity at their shops.
The bird flu report has badly affected chicken dealers’ business as people are avoiding chicken and eggs, preferring vegetables instead.
