Pakistan Promotes Poultry Products

This was stated by President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shahid Hasan Sheikh while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a hatchery. He said there was considerable scope for the export of eggs for breeder stock and substantial foreign exchange could be earned from the export of poultry products.

“We need to exploit all resources to boost export earnings of the country and to achieve this purpose the poultry sector deserves all support from the government,” he added. He said the new hatchery, which by all means, was a milestone in the development of poultry industry in Pakistan, which would help bridge protein gap between supply and demand.
