Print This Page Al Islami Foods Plans To Double Sales This Year
DUBAI - Al Islami Foods, a leading UAE-based halal meat and poultry firm, expects to double its sales this year from Dh180 million in 2006, the company's chief said.The company has seen its sales grow 65 per cent on a quarterly basis this year, chief executive officer Saleh Abdullah Lootah told Gulf News.
"We will see a 100 per cent increase in turnover this year. Our target is to achieve an annual turnover of Dh1 billion in five years," he said.
Al Islami is looking to grow its overseas presence and increase exports, currently 35 per cent of the overall revenues.
