MOSCOW - Aviagen, the world’s leading poultry breeding company, recently held its annual Russian conference at the Foresta Festival Park Hotel in Moscow. The two day conference followed the VIV Russia exhibition, allowing customers to combine attendance at the exhibition with the Aviagen event. There were over 150 attendees at the seminar, who enjoyed presentations on a variety of topics, such as the predictability of genetic progress, feeding during the rearing period and optimising broiler nutrition.
Day two consisted of an open forum led by members of Aviagen’s Eastern European and CIS team, with practical demonstrations of nutrition and management, hatchery and egg management and veterinary and vaccination practices.
Jonny Harrison, Area Technical Manager commented: “As always, the seminar was very well attended and we were delighted with the success of the event. The practical demonstrations were offered for the first time and these proved to be a welcome addition to our usual format of event.”
