Print This Page Seeking projects on animal welfare and rural enterprise
UK - The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust is inviting applications for its travel fellowships for 2008. Out of the 11 awards offered, two focus on animal welfare and ‘Making a living in the countryside’.The Fellowship offers a unique opportunity to travel overseas and explore areas of mutual interest. These awards enable British citizens resident in the United Kingdom, from all walks of life, to travel overseas to undertake a four-to-eight week project in one of a number of defined categories. Many of our 4000 Fellows have reported that the Award has opened doors that otherwise would have remained firmly shut.
Applicants should demonstrate that their project is feasible and worthwhile, and of benefit to their community and to the UK on return.
Application Deadline is 16 October 2007.
Further details about the Trust and the travel fellowships are available at http://www.wcmt.org.uk or by telephone on 020 7584 9315.
