Prices rising

“Increased price of Maize and Gasoline shortage caused the price of Chicken to rise by 20 percent,” said Farrokh Shesheh Gar, the Executive of the Union of Poultry farmers.

“Increased demands in Ramadan and lack of proper locations for direct distribution raise the price of Chicken to 2200 Tomans in Ahvaz,” he said.

“The price of Maize during past two months have risen from 310 Tomans per Kilo to 380 Tomans and that of Soybean has reached 245 Tomans and this is because of Gasoline shares and the 15 Kilometers distance between Poultry farms and the city,” mentioned Shisheh Gar.

“Considering the high level of demands the proceeding of Backing Company for distributing frozen Chicken cannot be effective,” said the Executive of the Union of Poultry farmers.
