Arbor Acres Staff Add Support To CPC School
EGYPT - Aviagen, the world's leading poultry breeding company, has lent its support to the 10th Cairo Poultry Company (CPC) Poultry Production School in Egypt, which took place between 1 and 6 September 2007.The Cairo Poultry Company is a leading Egyptian poultry integration and one of its divisions, Misr Poulty Grandparents (MPG), has been an Arbor Acres distributor for many years.
The Egypt CPC School, modelled on the principles of the successful Arbor Acres US School, has attracted more than 250 students since it was established in 2002.
During the event, Aviagen personnel representing the Arbor Acres brand spoke to 30 young students from leading Egyptian poultry companies, giving a week of lectures which focused on a wide range of topics related to poultry management.
One complete day was dedicated to the Arbor Acres brand, during which Stanley Millar, International Sales Manager, spoke about Arbor Acres' growing activities within the region of Middle East and Africa and the ever improving market share that the AA Plus is achieving in many markets, reflecting the growing confidence in the Arbor Acres brand and the AA Plus product itself..
Puzant Dakessian, Technical Service Manager for Arbor Acres, addressed the students on how to get the best out of the high genetic potential of the AA Plus through fine tuning management aspects whilst Regional
Veterinarian, Dr Akos Klausz, discussed the reasons for vaccination failure.
Stanley Millar said: "The leadership role of the CPC Group in the Egyptian industry is to be applauded. Their efforts to raise performance in Egypt through technical transfer, in particular the targeting of young managers, who will, in the years ahead, play a leading role within the Egyptian poultry industry, is of great benefit."
