Ross Technical Team On The Road In Zambia
ZAMBIA - Ross Breeders Zambia Ltd, an important Ross distributor in Africa, and Aviagen recently held a Technical Seminar for 70 customers from the broiler industry from Zambia and neighbouring countries.
Delegates were offered presentations from members of the Ross team on subjects such as a Global update, market trends, maximising Ross broiler performance and health topics to ensure Ross birds perform well in Zambian conditions. A lively question and answer forum rounded up this one day event
Waleed el Deeb, Ross Technical Service Manager, commented:
“From the feedback we received, the customers enjoyed the meeting and gained some valuable knowledge from the team.
For Aviagen, it is important to support our distributors and seminars, such as these, are an integral part of our business as they provide us with the opportunity to develop and promote the poultry industry in this region. They allow us to pass on our technical expertise and management advice which in turn helps customers’ businesses and the industry. Ross is now the product of choice in the region and we are committed to work with our customers to ensure they get the best performance from their Ross stock.”
Colin Lindsay, General Manager, Ross Breeders Zambia Ltd, added:
“We are delighted at the number of customers who have taken time out of their busy day on their farms to attend the meeting. The Ross team passed on some valuable knowledge and I would like to thank them for their support in organising the event. “
