Tesco Faces Battery Of Protest Over Eggs

UK - Tesco will this week endure a series of protests outside its stores over the sale of eggs from caged hens.

Pressure group Compassion in World Farming has organised a “Tesco Action Week” from 3-11 November to highlight the supermarket group's stance.

Eight demonstrations took place on Saturday (3 November) with a further ten scheduled between today and next Saturday.
