Aviagen On The Road In South Africa
SOUTH AFRICA - Aviagen joined forces with Ross Poultry Breeders (pty) Ltd, the Ross distributor in South Africa, to host a series of seminars to offer management advice and support to customers in the country
The three events, held in Pretoria, Cape Town and Natal, were attended by over 200 representatives from the South African poultry industry. The delegates enjoyed presentations on a whole host of topics, including the influence of female management on hatchability, the importance of good chick start, breeder production from 15 weeks onwards and lighting programmes to maximise broiler performance.
Michael Garden, Regional Technical Manager, said:
"These roadshows provide the opportunity for the Aviagen team to support our local distributor in South Africa and help maximise performance of the Ross product. Events such as these help to ensure Ross continue to be the product of choice in South Africa."
Marius Gericke, Ross Poultry Breeders (pty) Ltd General Manager, added:
