Aviagen Names New Director of Marketing
US - Aviagen, the world's leading poultry breeding company, has named David Burnham as director of marketing.Based in the corporate office in Huntsville, Alabama, Burnham will be responsible for managing the Aviagen brand and the company's chicken brands, Arbor Acres, Ross, and L.I.R., to ensure consistency across all operating business regions.
Burnham joined Aviagen in 2005, most recently serving as a poultry nutritionist. During this time, he was responsible for nutritional support for Aviagen customers in North America and Latin America as well as the company's internal production.
In addition to his educational background in poultry nutrition, Burnham earned his MBA in Marketing Management from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
"We are excited to welcome Dave into his new role at Aviagen," said Ben Thompson, president of Aviagen, Inc. "We are confident that his unique perspective and poultry expertise will further strengthen our company's marketing efforts."
