Not so long ago the fund has started direct investments directly in production, and at the moment it is one of shareholders of Kondopoga, Inc. On January 21 American investors and representatives of Severny agro-house from Petrozavodsk visited Kondopoga and met the head of regional administration V.Bessonov, head of Yanishpole rural settlement E.Shturmina and leading experts of administration.

At the meeting the investor's representative Ian Henk and representative of Severny agro-house in the USA Paul Rodzyanko (by the way, the descendant of the famous deputy of the State Duma of pre-revolutionary Russia) have told about work of their fund, having noted, that poultry farming is an absolutely new field of activity to them, therefore, for assistance they have addressed to their technological partners possesing the most advanced technologies and the leading positions in the poultry-farming market.

Reaction of partners to the submitted business offer appeared to be positive. And the most attractive part of the conceived project was an opportunity of new construction. There are also other positive components, such as presence of gas, electric power and man power. Also Americans have admitted, that they have not heard anything about Karelia before, and now discover our region for themselves with great interest.

Karelia is a unique territory, indeed, V.Bessonov confirmed. Unlike other regions of the country, for example, Tyumen with its sharp continental climate, we have favorable weather conditions - soft winters and not hot summers, that will considerably facilitate the problem of maintenance of certain microclimate in hen houses.

Head of administration has told about economic development of the area and its prospects. It has told that he has already signed the order to approve the 34-hectares plot of land for designing and construction of poultry-farming complex, having passed the corresponding document to Mr Henk.

The final decision on the sanction of construction of poultry-farming complex will result from public hearings in Yanishpole. From the American party it is required to prepare an information review of the forthcoming construction and its draft.

Investors plan to prepare the protocol of intentions within the forst six months of the year, and to provide designing and financing within a year.

We hope, that the tempting offer will come true. The modern poultry-farming complex in Yanishpole means prestige and economic gain for the region, maintenance of the village population employment and, of course, fresh agricultural products in the consumer market.
