Print This Page Go-ahead for Free Range Poultry Unit
UK - Lake District National Park planners have given the go-ahead for a free range poultry unit in Lowick Green.The unit is to be built at Esps Farm near the A590 trunk road.
The new unit will be formed of a 42.8m x 19.8m x 5.1m high poultry shed of metal sheeting above block walling.
Lowick Parish Council recommended approval.
The unit is being built in a region of the UK that is covered by strict conservation regulations as it is designated a region of natural beauty.
