Print This Page New Plant Opens Out East
ST. LOUIS, US — Animal health and nutrition company Novus International,has opened a new animal feed input plant in China. The 23,000 square foot facility, in Shanghai will strengthen its market position in Asia and will help expand overall production capacity."This facility is an example of our continued commitment to the Asian market," said Thad Simons, President and Chief Executive Officer, Novus International Inc.
China represents a key investment location due to the county's dynamic growth rate in the agriculture market. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge machinery made in the United States and China. It will produce a range of feed supplements - initially antioxidant blends and GEM line products.
"Having a direct investment in China is a milestone for Novus," stated Giovanni Gasperoni, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Sales. "With the opening of our Research and Development Center in Beijing last year, our new manufacturing facility can quickly capitalize on research that will benefit the Chinese agriculture industry," he added.
