Previously Portsmouth stores were hit the campaign. Compassion campaigners and local supporters distributed hundreds of Compassionate Shopping Guides to Tesco shoppers and handed in a letter to store managers calling on them to strengthen their policies on farm animal welfare and improve the lives of millions of chickens.
Protestors are set to be back on the streets outside Tesco stores in Sheffield calling for improved animal welfare policies to be introduced by the supermarket giant.
The 'Stop Being Rotten To Chickens' protest is a recent project of the Compassion in World Farming campaigners, who will demonstrate at three different stores next Wednesday.
First stop will be the Ecclesall Metro store in Berkley Precinct, Ecclesall Road, at 10am, followed by Woodseats Metro in Chesterfield Road at 11.45am.
