Print This Page Help at Hand for Small Flock Owners
CANADA - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is teaming up with provincial governments to deliver information sessions aimed at helping small flock owners prevent and detect disease in their birds.Topics include preventing the introduction and spread of disease, spotting the signs of illness in birds, and what to expect if a bird disease is detected in your area. Information kiosks will be set up for various subjects, and animal health experts will be on hand to answer questions throughout the evening.
More sessions are planned for later this year in other regions across Canada. Details for these sessions will be posted as they are finalized. The sessions are open to the general public. All small flock owners and bird enthusiasts are encouraged to attend.
