Arkansas Meeting on Furnace Systems and Legal Issues

US - Poultry Partners will hold its next meeting in Siloam Spring on 24 June 2008.

Poultry Partners will hear from Jim Wimberly, a bioenergy specialist based in Fayetteville and a consultant to Winrock International at its fourth annual meeting.

The meeting will take place on 24 June at the Siloam Springs Community Building in downtown Siloam Springs, according to Northwest Arkansas News Source. The meal will be served at 6 p.m. with the business meeting and programme presentation following at about 7 p.m.

Mr Wimberly will present the key results of his recent assessment of biomass-fired furnace systems for heating poultry houses. His assessment includes technical and economic analysis of systems using corn, wood pellets, raw litter, pelletized litter and cordwood.

Jerry Hunton, Poultry Partners Inc. president and Washington County judge, will serve as master of ceremonies.

Ken Williams, Poultry Partners attorney of Hall Estill Law firm, will talk about legal issues facing poultry producers.
