Print This Page Latest Report on Bird Flu
CHINA - OIE has received a new report regarding an avian flu outbreak on 17 June at a large duck farm.
The latest report received on 14 July by the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) from China reports one new outbreak of H5N1 avian influenza at a large duck farm in Jiang'men in Guangdong province.
More than 326,000 ducks were described as 'susceptible', of which 3873 died and the remaining birds were destroyed.
