Basilia Arlante, a consumer, said that they need to tighten their budget as inflation rate in the country has hit 12.2 percent.
ABS-CBN News reports that dressed chicken now costs 130 pesos (PHP) per kilo.
Dressed chicken vendor, Terry Lizardo, said there are customers who are surprised at how prices of basic commodities have risen so fast in the last few months.
