There have been no reported illnesses associated with this product; however, the company has initiated the recall as a precautionary measure.

The affected products were sold to foodservice companies, which typically supply restaurants, and were not labeled for retail sale. The foodservice companies have been notified and asked to recover and hold the products further distributed to their customers until the products can be retrieved by Tyson.

Tyson has been in the process of reducing the number of allergens in the company’s foodservice products and produced some products with the old formulation while prematurely using a new label.
