Changes Ahead in Egg Market

ISRAEL - The price of state-subsidized eggs is to rise, and more size categories will be introduced.

The price of state-subsidised eggs will rise by eight percent, or approximately 0.07 shekels (ILS) per egg, reports The Jerusalem Post.

Additionally, eggs will be sorted according to seven size categories - as they are in the United States and Europe - rather than the current three size grades.
