There are over 5,340,000 poultry in high-risk areas on the territory of the Siberian District.
In the course of monitoring laboratory research experts revealed antibodies to A-H5 avian influenza virus in blood serum of 300 wild migratory birds in the Altaisky and Krasnoyarsky Krai, the Republic of Buryatia, Tuva and Khakassia, and the Tomsk Region.
For the time being, no cases of avian influenza among wild and domestic birds have been registered on the territory of the Siberian Federal District.
