Aviagen Hosts 6th Ross Asia Association Meeting

The two-day program, held October 9^th and 10^th, brought together Ross distributors, grandparent customers and other invited guests from countries across Asia and the Oceanic region.

The meeting was held at the Grand Hyatt Beijing and 30 participants from 12 countries were in attendance. Aviagen personnel were joined by a number of guest speakers to present on topics such as poultry health and disease challenges, feed, technical and environmental management issues, water quality, transportation challenges, broiler performance and processing.

“The Ross Asia Association is an important forum for Aviagen, our distributors and our customers to better understand the present and future market requirements that are specific to this area,” said Bill Souther, Aviagen vice president in Asia. “This meeting is the ideal place for them to gain a great understanding of the key trends in the business and a warm, friendly atmosphere to exchange ideas and experiences.”
