Iberian Appointment for Lohmann Animal Health
SPAIN - Specialist poultry vaccine company, Lohmann Animal Health, has appointed veterinarian Felix Ponsa Musarra to provide technical support for its extensive range of products in Spain and Portugal.
Dr Ponsa Musarra gained his veterinary degree at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Zaragoza, Spain, before joining a poultry and pig integration company in Barcelona where he was responsible for its health and certification programmes. He also took on the role of veterinarian/ poultry pathologist at CESAC (Centre for Poultry Health in Catalonia and Aragon), in Reus, Tarragona.
Linked to his concurrent research work into avian health and food safety, he has published many scientific and technical papers on poultry diseases.
Based in Monistrol de Calders, near Barcelona, where he also lives, in his new post he will assist with the technical services provided by Laboratorios Calier in Spain and Lohmann’s subsidiary, TLH Saúde Animal Lda, in Portugal.
Spare-time hobbies include the cinema, music and football.
