New Poultry Farm in Almaty Oblast
17 November 2008KAZAKHSTAN - A new broiler farm in the Almaty region was opened last week.
Kazinform reports that the new broiler farm - the first of its kind in the region - with a capacity to produce 29,000 tonnes of meat per year. It will be the largest supplier of poultry meat in the region, providing 13 per cent of domestic demand and 30% of the poultry meat produced in the republic of Kazakhstan.
The new farm - Kazros Broiler - was set up by Kazros II Trading House LLP in the Uigur district of Almaty oblast.
