MVP's Chief Executive Officer, Zaharuddin Zabri said this is a milestone achievement for the company as well as the research and development community in Malaysia, since the company was established in 1992, reports Bernama.

"Our technology is based on research carried out by Veterinary Research Institute in Ipoh, Universiti Putra Malaysia and Australian-based Arthur Wedster Pte. Ltd," he said in a statement.

Mr Zaharuddin said that MVP will also be injecting another MYR 5 million next year to expand its production capacity to cope with the bigger demand, resulting from its expansion into overseas market.

"We have achieved our maximum capacity of 900 million doses per annum for the two plants," he said.
