Print This Page Newcastle Disease in Germany 'Resolved'
GERMANY - The veterinary authorities have sent a new report to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), indicating no new outbreaks of Newcastle disease and thus that the event is resolved.
The latest report (Follow-up Report no. 2) is dated 2 January 2009. It states there have been no further cases of Newcastle disease since April 2008 and thus, that the situation is resolved.
