Prioskolie Output to Leap Forward in '09

RUSSIA - Poultry meat company, Prioskolie, is predicting an increase in output of up to 100,000 tonnes in 2009.

In 2009, the company is going to produce 300,000 tons of poultry (live weight), says Gennady Bobritsky, General Director of ZAO Prioskolie. According to Meat Russia, he added that taking into account the production capacities at plants in Biysk and Tambov, 350,000 tons might be achieved.

In 2008, Prioskolie produced more than 246,000 tons of poultry (live weight) and 186 million hatching eggs.

As a result of its business activities from 2005 to 2007, Prioskolie headed the list of three hundred largest and efficient agricultural enterprises of Russia, the so-called Club Agro-300.
