“The excellent customer results in central and eastern Europe with both parent stock and broilers, and at processing plants, are ensuring that the demand for Cobb is quite outstanding,” says James Truscott, director of Cobb Germany.

“The experiences of our team members working closely with customers confirms that chicken meat can be produced at a lower cost with Cobb. We are also seeing breeder performance as a decision maker in choosing the breed.”

The focus of the second day was on veterinary issues and real-life situations which can help customers achieve a more biosecure environment. The speakers were the well respected Cobb Germany veterinarian consultants, Dr Klaus Müller-Molenar and Dr Matthias Todte.

Wout van Wolfswinkel, Cobb Germany’s account manager from Cobb Europe, told the team how the Cobb breed was expanding sales worldwide.

“We know from the comments how much these get-togethers are appreciated by everyone involved in our market area,” added Mr Truscott. “The interaction is excellent and a wide range of technical issues covered so our team is well prepared to help customers.”
