Aviagen Names New Technical Service Manager
PHILIPPINES - Esmi Barrera San Pedro has been appointed by Aviagen to the position of technical service manager for the Asian region.
Aviagen has named Esmeraldo (Esmi) Barrera San Pedro to the position of technical service manager for the Asian Region.
Based in Quezon City, Philippines, he will be responsible for providing technical service to Aviagen's customers in that region.
He earned a BSc degree in animal husbandry and a DVM degree from Central Luzon State University in the Philippines. With more than 18 years of poultry experience, Dr San Pedro most recently served as general manager for PT Sierad Produce in Jakarta, Indonesia where for the last four years he was responsible for their broiler breeding and hatchery operations.
"Esmi's knowledge and experience will allow us to continue to provide the finest technical service to our customers in this ever-expanding region," said Bruce Evans, Aviagen's regional technical manager for Asia. "We are confident that he will be a tremendous asset to Aviagen and to our customers."
