Print This Page Chapter 11 for Changing World Technologies
US - A biofuels refiner that was processing waste products from the Butterball turkey plant in Carthage, Missouri, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.Changing World Technologies Inc, that runs the Renewable Environmental Solutions plant in Carthage filed for Chapter 11 at the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
The Butterball plant has now stopped supplying the biorefinery with its waste material, according to a report on Meatingplace.
The report adds that Changing World Technologies has laid off most of its workforce.
