Print This Page Award for Arkansas's Professor Kuenzel
US - University of Arkansas poultry scientist, Professor Wayne Kuenzel, has received the John Imhoff Outstanding Research Publication Award.Professor Wayne Kuenzel, department of poultry science at the University of Arkansas, was awarded the John Imhoff Outstanding Research Publication Award by the UA Chapter of Sigma Xi.
The award was for the publication: Li and Kuenzel (2008) A possible neural cascade involving the photoneuroendocrine system (PNES) responsible for regulating gonadal development in an avian species, Gallus gallus. Brain Research Bulletin 76:586-596.
This is the fifth year for this cash award to a faculty member of the chapter. The award was created in honour of Dr John Imhoff from Industrial Engineering, a long-time supporter and member of the chapter.
