Meriden Visits Her Royal Majesty the Queen’s Pigeon Loft
UK - Carlo Napolitano, the Manager of the Royal Pigeon Loft, has been using Orego-Stim in Her Majesty's pigeons’ drinking water.
Pippa Sprinks from Meriden Animal Health Limited was deemed the honour of visiting the Royal Pigeon Loft on the Sandringham Estate.
“It was brought to my attention that Mr Carlo Napolitano, the Manager of the Royal Pigeon Loft, had been using Orego-Stim® in Her Majesty’s Pigeons’ drinking water for many seasons. So, I went to find out exactly how he thought the pigeons had benefited from the Orego-Stim® in their drinking water.” said Pippa Sprinks.
Mr Carlo Napolitano has been the Loft Manager for Her Royal Majesty the Queen since 1992, before that he had been keeping pigeons since he was a young boy and racing them from the 1970s.
Prior to the visit Carlo had already made a long list of his observations, which included the following in no particular order.
- White wattels
- Good feathers
- Bright eyes
- Exercise well
- Good appetite
- Warm feet
- All round good condition
- Won 10 races 2008
- Held form for much longer
- No ailments
- Driest droppings ever!
Carlo is very impressed with Orego-Stim® and said ‘the pigeons have the driest droppings they’ve ever had!”
