PAKISTAN - The price of chicken meat has shot up to Rs180 in Jehlum in the holy month of Ramazan, causing concerns among the residents.According to details, the prices of chicken meat have reached Rs.180 per kilogram in the market during the holy month of Ramazan, which are out of reach of the common man.
Quoting Online, Dawn.com reports that residents demanded of the Punjab chief minister to take notice of the prices and take action against the responsible persons.
They pointed out that as the chief minister takes notice of the prices of other items, similarly, he should take notice of the chicken prices.
They demanded of the Punjab chief minister to take solid steps to bring down the prices of chicken meat.
