A.W Latham and Son Improved their Results in 2007
A.W Latham and Son have improved their results in 2007 compared with 2006 and they put it down to using Orego-StimŽ Pigeon.
In 2006, A.W. Latham achieved 8 x 1st places in club and 3 x 1st places in federation. In 2007, they increased the number club wins to 10 and in the federation they had 4 first places.
Two of the best results A.W Latham achieved this season were:
1) Newton Abbot race on the 08.09.07 - 162 miles – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th club (Trent Valley House H.S) 185 birds. Coventry and District South Road Federation – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th federation 975 birds.
2) Kingsdown on the 1.9.2007 - 143 miles – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th club 168 birds. Coventry and District South Road Federation - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th positions 1,062 birds.
The best cock (pictured right) this year is GB 2005 C34194 Cheq. He has won this year alone 4 x 1st places in club, a 2nd and a 3rd plus 1st, 4th, 18th and 19th federation. He was ‘Bird of The Year’ in the Trent Valley House H.S in 2006 and will be running again this year.
Mark of A.W. Latham recently went to Belgium where he visited a lot of the top fanciers. Mark holding ‘Kannibal’ belonging to Dirk Van Dyck.
