Training Programme Offered to Nepal's Producers

NEPAL - Nimbus-Nepal, an organisation working in the agriculture and animal husbandry sectors, organised a one-day training for poultry entrepreneurs in Baglung recently.

Himalayan News Service reports that veterinarians, Dr Bikash Malla and Dr Sital Kaji Shrestha trained around 45 poultry farmers. A 20-minute documentary on poultry farming was also shown during the session. Farmers were trained on poultry farming management, biosecurity on farms and were made aware of various poultry diseases.

Nimbus, in a press statement, stated that it has plans to conduct farmers' training in all the 75 districts of the country.

As of now, it is preparing for free training sessions in 54 districts. Nimbus had introduced first poultry pellet feed in the country.
